Nourishing the Mind: An Abundance of Poetic Thought

Nourishing the Mind is divided into two sections:First section is, "Nourishing Poetic Thoughts" My inner thoughts and emotions about many topicsSecond section is, "Love Revelations" My love for my wife, Cecilia.Section IWhile traveling through life I made some observations that I needed to share, so I published them my way, in the form of poetry. Traveling to many nations has been an enriching experience for me. I find friendly people in all of the nations where I have visited. It seems as much as we differ in some ways, we have many things in common. I emphasize the commonality of people all across this earth and hope for more peaceful outcomes in the future.Two lines from one of my poems:"One common thread of humanityWill conquer the world's insanity"Life's lessons learned, and inspirations gained are my way of helping others, thereby enhancing my own happiness. Two lines from the poem; "Heavy Heart from the Start"'When each day weighs heavy on your heartHoping to be free of this from the very start" Through my poetry I am able to share my thoughts and emotions on a variety of topics from the "Greatest Generation" plus the education for all of our children, to finding our roots through DNA testing. Section IIMy revelations about love all stem from the great love of my life, Cecilia. She is the cement that shores up my life, emphasizing the dreamer in me. She makes my life exceptional and extraordinary, inspiring me to create bigger and better things.
