Robert Porter's writings, that are documented in this book, are his notions of poetry that include general topics of rhyming, free-verse, humorous and romantic ideas. For several years, he attempted to mold words about most any subject matter into a meaningful poetic collection. Whether philosophical, lyric, or dramatic ideas in free-verse or rhymes, his contributions are best described in his poem, Everlasting Poetry. He was influenced to publish this book by his friends Robert E. Gribbin and T. Lee Baumann, both having completed and published many books. Robert Porter is a continuing student in life studies. He has traveled to many continents and has spent several years on multiple ocean adventures. He has also visited and experienced the different cultures of several islands in the western Pacific. Some of his most interesting journeys included time spent in Spain, Korea, Japan and Alaska. He has ridden horseback and herded cattle in the Sierras, flown single engine aircraft and found gold in California. An avid golfer, his interests include not only golf, but also astronomy, photography and genealogy. He currently resides with his wife of 56 years in the state of his favorite football team, Alabama.
