Every four years the city of Avidya vote for their Burger Buddy, the contender who makes the best burgers, and the citizens believe promotes the best policies both foreign and domestic. This public official wears a golden crown and resides in the White Palace, the largest restaurant in the city, where he administers business and burgertics, the city's version of governmental affairs. There are two platforms, or Menus, in Avidya's government: the sinistre (left) -hoof Vegicrats, and the dexter (right) -hoof Carnicans. While the Carnicans believe that burgers should be made of beef from animals, their Vegicrat counterparts push for plant-based patties. In a city where most government affairs revolve around the burger, the citizens are informed by the main grease burgercasts; these outlets have gradually leaned toward the Vegicrats for two decades. Much of the coverage is in the favor of sinistre ideals, while giving mostly negative attention to dexter-hoof burgerticians and their policies.Ronald Crump, the proprietor of a successful company called Crump Flowers, has decided to enter the contest. Instantly, the other contenders and the burgercasts unite against Crump, as he is not a chef and has never been a burgertician. Ronald is not intimidated, for it only serves to bolster his resolve. He blasts back at the main grease, calling them Fake Meat as his MATA campaign slogan, Make Avidya Tasty Again," takes the city by storm. Many well know personalities in dexter talk radio defend Crump, having never seen a contestant generate such attention. This is the story of one man and his supporters who are not part of the establishment taking on the system. May the best Burger Buddy win.
