"Nothing to Do" describes a day in the life of a very inventive little girl who finds herself alone in her room for the day along with her cat and her dog. Armed with the usual tools of childhood craft - scissors, paper, glue, string, tape, beads, paint, crayons, ribbon, and popsicle sticks - and equipped with the contents of her closet and drawers, plus her dressup chest, she navigates her way through "all the 'coulds' that I could do." All she needs to get started is a hammer. The book begins with the girl in her nice, clean, empty room. It ends with the outcome of her day's activity in one teeming image. For kids aged 4-6.
