Note From The Jailhouse: My Time Spent As A Political Prisoner In The Lee County, Florida Jail

By Robin Speronis

Romans 8:28
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

Welcome to the criminal justice system in Lee County, Florida. Come to find out, the criminal justice system often is used not as a means of enforcing traditional justice for criminal conduct, but as a means of protecting some favored interests. The criminal justice system in Lee County, Florida is not always about crime and justice anymore - it's more often about job security, budgets, and profit.

Author Robin Speronis is best known today for standing up to the city of Cape Coral, Florida for her right to live 'off - the - grid'. The city condemned her house and tried to evict her. Her case went viral and captured international attention as she defied the city order to vacate her home. Yet there is much more to this one act of defiance.

The tactics the city used to break her and shut her up we're outrageous and landed her in jail on a false animal cruelty charge. She had not sought jail time but she was ready for it. As a jailed political opponent of the policies of the city of Cape Coral, Speronis, from a wholly unique perspective, was able to observe several prominent examples of the misuse of the criminal justice system.

Every American needs to see the now common misuse of the criminal justice system exposed in this book.
