Although this book is now outdated, it still gives an excellent and thorough review of the aspects of the office of Notary Public in the State of Florida. It is much more thorough than even the Governor's Reference Manual for Notaries, goes in depth on complex situation. For example, where the Governor's manual spends 1 page talking about the notarial seal, whereas this book spends 4 or 5 pages. Some notaries may think this book is too detailed, but for notaries such as myself who are very interested in these types of evaluations of the law, this book is an excellent resource. I do not know if the author, Alfred Piombino, is still alive, but if he is the Florida authorities should seriously commission this man to re-write the Governor's manual. I wish this book was more reasonably priced so I could purchase my own copy, but I was able to get a copy through the Interlibrary Loan program.
