"Not yet expired" is an autobiography about an orphan by the name Catherine. Catherine is a typical African girl whose parents die when she is only six years old. The girl is left behind to take care of her younger brother, without anybody to look up to. The story follows Catherine through her joys and struggles as she becomes a street child, and later passes from one household to the other as a house help. It describes her thirst for education, freedom and love, and how she managed to acquire them despite the many barriers others put up for her. The book shows an example of the life of an orphan in Africa. It is meant as an inspiration to all, and especially those children who face similar hurdles.
