NOT WHAT YOU DREW - An Unorthodox Guide to Architectural Work

A blunt, practical guide to what architecture school doesn't teach: how the profession actually works.

It reveals the hidden structure behind architectural careers, how offices function, how value is assigned, why progression feels broken, and what options exist beyond the traditional path.

Part guide, part map, it breaks down the system, the reality of daily practice, and the full range of roles available in the field, helping architects make clearer, more strategic decisions about their work and future.

For students and professionals alike, it replaces vague expectations with orientation, clarity, and usable insight into the real world of architecture.
