In an effort to save his ranch, Sherman O'Neil signs a lease with and oil company for them to drill. Being a hands on type of person, he travels from his Wyoming ranch to Salt Lake City and then to Houston, Texas to learn more about the oil industry. He meets a lady, Lenora Smithson in Houston, who owns a pipeline supply company. The sparls immediately fly, until he sees her kissing another woman.
