The music is loud and incessantly upbeat, with massive industrial fans pushing cold air down onto the members. Forcing them to activity despite themselves. The well-worn concrete floor is stained from a thousand washes and a million sweat drops, and the ergonomically designed machines are worn and tired. Giving off an aroma of sweat and desperation known the world over. The staff smiled, members were serious and the physical trainers loved their jobs. The layout was uniform in lines and grids but many items were returned off-centre or left where they fell giving a dishevelled appearance as members moved through.
