As children we are rarely educated about the special needs community. We see them in our classrooms and we see them around school, but rarely does anyone educate us on the proper way to interact with special needs children or children with disabilities. This lack of education leads to them getting picked on and made fun of. My children grew up with their special needs brother so they had a different outlook on things. They had understanding, and compassion. I wrote this book to help other children have that same understanding.
