Not Boyfriend Material

By Lore Blackwood

The road trip of a lifetime.

A magical 7-day bond between two wolf shifters.

To protect herself, all Sylva has to do is believe...

In this spicy sequel to OMEGA HEAT, as Sylva Waters' first and late-blooming heat cools beneath the influence of the bond, the pair originally thrust together for what should have been a brief road trip takes a detour into the woods as Boots tries to convince Sylva of what she truly is, and prove that magic is a very real part of what feels like an increasingly unreal and dangerous world to her.

Boots is discovering some unsavory truths about the company holding his leash, and the risks to his heart because of the bond he initiated to protect Sylva-the woman he's supposed to deliver to "safety." Deciding that the best way to safeguard Sylva is for her to be able to protect herself as a Wolf, Boots needs her to believe in magic.

Sylva wants to believe in magic as much as she wants to believe in true love, but even with the proof right in front of her, is she brave enough to?

And when Boots realizes that his handler Petey was right--that magic can be mean--will Boots' own belief hold up?
