An accidental prophet discovers that foreseeing the future can be hysterically unpredictable.After a comical mishap at work, Dave acquires the ability to see the future through various water streams. At first it seems like a gift, like when he bets an unsuspecting spectator $100 on the outcome of a baseball game. But he comes to realize that some things were better off unknown. He finds out his wife becomes impregnated a month before the actual conception and struggles internally whether or not to let her know of this unplanned turn of events. Or even to follow through with the deed that will cause the impending fatherhood for which he feels ill prepared. Meanwhile, after finally convincing his friend of his abilities, the pair get mixed up with a seedy mafia type who suspect that their run of luck isn't on the up and up. And a botched play at second base sets off a free will debate that was possibly predetermined. Without giving too much away. The winning lottery numbers aren't always the easiest balls to find and dogs are sometimes known to have boundary issues. But karma has a way to set things straight.
