I started writing this book when I was 15. Now 20 seems to be around the corner. I don't know if I ever expected this to be poetry or a diary or anything other than where my mind goes late at night when I can't sleep. I found comfort in my bed and luck in the moon. I couldn't afford therapy, so I made my own. This book has been my therapy sessions. This book has possibly saved my life. While I haven't quite made it to the end of the tunnel, I have managed to turn the page on these confusing and off-track times where I've floated through life afraid. With this book of recollections I hope to encourage others to accept themselves and what they feel. Please validate your feelings for yourself. Do not wait or rely on others to care about what you're going through. Feel what you must, cry if you must, write if you must.
