Great Mystery - Surprise Ending

The surprise ending makes it impossible for anyone to guess the killer or motivation early in the book. Northern Explosion is a real page turner, moving quickly with characters and plot that are believable. It's the kind of book that is great for gift giving. I bought copies for my grandmother, mother, mother-in-law, two aunts, and a sister. My grandmother was especially delighted with the book. She said that "Peterson really captured the flavor of small town life." My family can hardly wait for more in the series. It's especially relevant now with all the political maneuvering going on in our country. Yes - more Laura and the characters of Birch Bay.
