Northern Alberta Is A Remarkable Community With A Foundation That Is Barely Known. The stories in this book focus on the areas surrounding La Crete, Fort Vermilion, High Level, Peace River, Rainbow Lake, Zama City and Mackenzie County - an enormous yet remote area with a fascinating history. This book is the by-product of learning the origin stories of a community I've fallen in love with over a period of five years, one that I initially stumbled into by accident and continues to play a major role in our story.It was here that an entire community would welcome me with open arms and help develop my skills as a storyteller. I learned how to interview, research, write fact-based stories, connect with an audience, and develop a network that allowed me to start Liberty Multimedia.
