Native Americans, Then and Now
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 25 years ago
This book is an excellent resource for Native American life and culture. It discusses eight geographic areas and the Native Americans who populated them. Each section discusses what the life and times were like for Native Americans when Europeans first came to America. The sections conclude with an interview with a present-day Native American representing each tribe. The book is beautifully illustrated with drawings and photographs of their housing, artifacts and their way of life. As an adult I found the book very informative, but I would not recommend it to children younger than 12.
