Normal Again is a collection of poems intended to relate in written form the overwhelming feeling of trying to be a normal, fully functioning adult, in situations when the opposite is often true. These are stories ripped unceremoniously from real life, seasoned with Thomas Hunter's idiosyncratic, own brand sauce, and cooked at maximum power.
They were initially published on Farcaster before finding a home on Zora, both of which are decentralized social media and Web 3 economy platforms designed to give creators full control of their content. They are places where, in theory, you cannot be deplatformed. Unfortunately these places also predominantly focus on visual art and digital imagery, which means they are not generally the best environments to consume poetry or other creative writing, hence the decision to publish here. Thomas Hunter is a father, a husband, and a multidisciplinary, award winning writer attempting to understand the world through poetry.Related Subjects
