Noraly Schoenmaker, known by her pseudonym Itchy Boots , was born on June 30, 1987, in Nieuwerkerk aan den IJssel, a small town in the Netherlands. From an early age, she stood out for her curiosity and adventurous spirit. Fluent in English and Spanish, and with a knack for picking up the official languages of the countries she visits, Noraly has always had a passion for exploring new cultures and landscapes.

Her journey into the world of travel began shortly after she turned 20, when she spent two years traveling across the globe. It was during this time that she discovered her love for motorcycles while traversing the Himalayas. Inspired by the freedom and thrill of the open road, she purchased her first motorcycle in Asia and began an epic journey through the continent. Upon returning to the Netherlands, she resolved to save money to fund future adventures.
