When his prot g Alan Brandon disappears and the body is found mutilated, everyone concludes that Iron Joe Suarez' 'son' is dead-except Iron Joe. Alan Brandon is worth a million dollars a year to the Hatchet gang. So Joe calls on the best skip tracer in South Florida to find the truth. Molly Orwell, ex-policewoman and finder of missing persons, will take on the job, at the risk of "getting my head blow off." What Iron Joe doesn't know is that Molly has strong feelings for Alan Brandon. She locates him only to find out he is infatuated with another woman. Alan knows if he goes back he'll be murdered along with Molly, but he goes back anyway, hoping to save Molly.
