After years of fighting, the signs of fatigue among the soldiers of the Durana fleet are undeniable. Some surrender to a bleak fate, full of battles and hardships, with no prospect of a peaceful life, on one of the many worlds of the galaxy. Others join together in groups with the goal of starting a mutiny to find a new home for the humans. Dominic is still undecided whether to side with the insurgents. Time is running out. But to which of the many groups, sometimes representing very extreme ideologies, should he declare his allegiance?

As survivors and refugees, they try to assert themselves between the cultures of the galaxy, which is called ASGAROON by its inhabitants. Some of them have managed to make a name for themselves in the feudal society of ASGAROON. Others eke out an existence as homeless wanderers. But regardless of their status, the new inhabitants of ASGAROON are met with suspicion and contempt...
