Nomad Prve Generacije is my third poetry anthology--what began as a senior project for my Senior Humanities class evolved into something far greater. This collection is a journey through identity, culture, and conviction. As I prepare to enter college as a political science major, I find myself asking not just who I am, but why . Through these poems, I explore what it means to be Serbian--from the weight of history and the pulse of tradition to the complexity of modern Serbian and global politics. I speak candidly about mental health, identity, and the search for belonging, offering an honest portrayal of a young person navigating the world with both curiosity and conviction. This book is for anyone who has ever asked where they come from, who they are becoming, and how the personal is always political.
