Noises in the Night

By Mysti Gates

Noises in the Night is a wonderful story about a child who cannot sleep because noises are filtering in from outside. These noises, familiar to those who live in the country, include the sounds of crickets, frogs, and dogs to name a few. The child, of course, seeks the comfort of a parent-in this case the mother-who explains the noises as a "song of nature." The mother eases the child's concerns and all is well-both inside and out. Your children will love learning about the sounds of nature and reading this bedtime story with you.
