Nog-eens [Dutch]

By: Multatuli

Nog-eens, subtitled "Vrye-arbeid In Nederlandsch-Indi ...", is a powerful work by Multatuli (Eduard Douwes Dekker), a prominent Dutch author known for his sharp critiques of Dutch colonialism. This book delves into the issues surrounding forced labor in the Dutch East Indies during the 19th century. Multatuli's unflinching examination exposes the injustices and exploitative practices inflicted upon the native population.

Through compelling prose and incisive arguments, Nog-eens serves as a significant historical document, shedding light on a dark chapter in colonial history. Multatuli's work remains relevant today, prompting reflection on the ethical responsibilities of nations and the enduring consequences of colonialism.
