Hey, Bulldog!

Noelle is a beautiful little bulldog (she is NOT homely as Marge Loch-Wouters, Menasha Public Library, WI asserts in her editorial review) with a loving heart. Readers are treated to this delightful little bulldog again in this story, after having enjoyed her in Estefan's first book about her, "The Magically Mysterious Adventures of Noelle the Bulldog." Noelle's owner reads her a story about a Spanish galleon filled with treaures. Infused with excitement, the spirited little bulldog decides to go on a quest of her own to find that treasure! Once at the beach, she vows she will find that ship laden with treasure buried in the sand. She goes out on her mission and in the process makes some crustacean and marine friends. A delightful book for all ages, readers will certainly agree that the lovable little bulldog is the REAL treasure. She makes you think of the Beatles' classic, "Hey, Bulldog!"

Fun for all ages!

I bought this book for a few children as gifts and they love it! The pictures are bright and colorful and keep the children involved. The story has a wonderful message. I recommend this for any bulldog or story lover!

adorable book, love the lessons and the rhymes

this is a great followup to Gloria's first book about lovable Noelle, a bulldog who finds her way and her value in the world. This book is one of my daughters favorites and she loves the bright colorful pictures. I think we will be reading it together for many years!

Gloria's Second Book is as Good or Better than the First!

Noelle's Treasure Tale is a wonderful little book! And the illustrations are glorious! What wonderful, bold colors - that's the best looking crab I've ever seen! There's also a CD included - See With Your Heart - a very nice song. I hope there is a third installment with another original song by Gloria. And if there is, I hope the CD will also include Gloria reading the book. That would be the icing on the cake! Merry Christmas, Noelle!

As good as the first :-)

This is such a cute book. I like it as much as the first book from Gloria. Noelle goes on a treasure hunt looking for gold but finds much more in the way of treasures other than gold. It has a nice underlying message of friendship and kids of all ages (even older kids - like me) will love it. She's got the same kind of beautiful pictures in here and making it visually appealing is as important as the story itself. It's set at the Treasure Coast of Florida (so called because a long long time ago a ship actually did go down and there were apparently treasures on there) and when Noelle hears about the fact that the ship is under the sand, that's where she meets and makes new friends. It's so cute and enjoyable and Noelle is easy to fall in love with. With the holiday season coming up, this would make a good gift for any kid because they are bound to love it. I do.
