Good edge of your seat reading... but read during the day. You just don't know what may be lurking in the dark.

monsters in the shadows

A interesting mystery thriller it takes time to reveal what is going on. The detective is as confused as the young boy as the story progresses. I enjoyed how the events kept my interest while the characters kept learning more, drawing closer to the truth and changed their perspectives. I rank it up there with Lincoln Child and Douglas Prestion novels and James Rollins Thrillers.
