"The strong walk alone" this logic & mindset was embedded in Rell, one of the team's youngest and most astute members, who is fresh up out the county jail, after sitting for 2 years.
The multiple murder charges were dismissed, due to another team member's failure to continue to cooperate. Along with the help of Asa, who was also recently released, and a few team members, who were fortunate not to get caught up when the Federal indictments dropped on the rest of the team, Rell is determine to restore the team's glory and status in the Streets. With the distant nod from his oldhead Money and the direct line to the connect, Rell lays his game down quite flat. But heavy is the head that wears the crown, that, can have the head roll before or after it wears it down.
Initially, as Rell become familiar with the Pros & Cons of leadership, he sometimes misses the simplicity of following. Eventually, Rell head
swells, as a result of the money and popularity he enjoys during his run. "What did you think was gone happen, the shooters got the sack." This is the way Rell justify every mis-step and violent act. Puffed up with ego and pride, he pushes all thoughts of pain aside, and convinces himself that a boss only complains to God. Rell who relish leadership, is in the process of learning the following:
Although, a leader may decide alone, he almost never suffer the consequence of his decision alone. This is so, because as a leader, he is responsible for the fate & destiny of those who chose to follow him.
