The story is about Jack, a young boy who gets angry and pushes into Zoe's castle because he can't play with the castle that his classmate Zoe has built. Ms. Rice asks Jack to write an apology letter to Zoe, and the whole book is layered around Jack revising his apology letter. With the teacher's help and guidance, Jack releases his negative emotions during the process of writing the apology letter, and on the other hand, he learns that a real apology should include three points: 1) I did something wrong. 2) I am sorry. 3) I will help to make it right. Eventually he got Zoe's understanding as well. Together they built a cooler castle and planned to build a bigger one the next day.
