excellent book for young teens

The story was nice tale of mans interactions with nature. It details a boys attempt to find help for his friend who has been shot. Throughout the story, various animals help him to overcome his fears. At the same time he gains a new respect for the animals he once feared. I found the story both captivating and inspiring with a nice touch of magic
