This book was absolutely thrilling. I could not put it down. Entire book read in one setting. I was facinated by the ability of a ex-inmate to impersonate a real attorney and none of the other professionals judges, prosecutors and real attorneys did not question his capability. Truly remarkable how this young man was able to cope and recover.
Compelling

Although I knew the outcome of this book prior to reading it, because I know the author, Eddie Harrison, personally. I was still amazed by the trials and tribulations that the author had to endure.Every time he lost an appeal, my heart sank, and I almost expected him (the author) to give up hope. However, he did not, and that is why this book is so compelling. To me, this book is a testimonial of the power of faith. The book causes you to take inventory of your life, and compared to what the author had to endure, puts our own personal trials into perspective. The author exposes the frightening treatment of young men, especially young black men, involved in the criminal justice system, out into the open.I highly recommend this book to everyone. Especially to those who have direct contact with a young man between the ages of 13 and 21.
