Ginger Gianni, after researching a famous secret society, leaves her home in Portland, Oregon, and heads across the country to take an up-close look at what she's seen on her computer. What she finds is nothing like she expected. Not remotely close. First, she meets Micky Mangrove, a University of Tennessee professor and a man who has a great deal of knowledge about secret societies. Ginger eagerly accepts his offer to help. While traveling together, he receives a number of mysterious phone calls that eventually take him to Europe in pursuit of a person from his past. While there, Ginger and Micky end up in a struggle to stay alive after they discover what the fellow was involved in. It's a tense race around France, Spain, Italy and several more countries as the pair battle forces that are not just set on wiping them out but bent on controlling weather.
