"No!" Said Joe is a sweet, imaginative story about a kid who doesn't want to go shopping with his parents. The book follows a pattern of the parents asking Joe "What if" such and such happened (like a big giant coming to scare him) while the illustrations show how much fun Joe would have with the truly wonderful characters that would visit him while his parents were out without him. The verses rhyme, making it fun to read. The illustrations are lovely. And the ending is terrific. You and your child will love it!
