No Regrets, Mr. Hoover: The True Experiences of a Veteran FBI Agent

From Nebraska to Texas, Joseph Webb's autobiography, No Regrets, Mr. Hoover, covers the story of the author's experiences as an FBI agent in vibrant detail. Webb examines each incident from both a professional and a personal perspective, giving the reader a uniquely realistic sense of what went on in the day-to-day operations of one of America's most intriguing government agencies during the Hoover era. An engaging, fast-paced read, No Regrets, Mr. Hoover is a worthy addition to any individual's library.

Born in Pennsylvania, a navy veteran of World War II, and an accountant and lawyer, the author served over twenty-one years with the FBI under the leadership of J. Edgar Hoover. He married his college sweetheart, Flo, in 1945. They have three children and five grandchildren. After retiring from the FBI in 1972, he spent the next ten years training law-enforcement officers for the University of Texas System. In 2000, he and his wife moved from Austin, Texas, to Ruidoso, New Mexico.
