No place like home edition four

Long-ago before OSHA and the EPA had ever come into the workplace the old-school ways of operating a chemical or refinery plant was so much different back in the days of when I first started out in the early seventies. I was a young care-free twenty year old man thinking I knew everything about life but, little did I ever know that when I first started out in the Chemical plant industry in Freeport Texas that my life would change drastically as the many hard-earned lessons piled up and I had learned not only about what it took to being an Operator in a chemical plant but, I had learned the hard way and of the most valuable lessons in life and that was to be the start of the changes in my life that helped me learn to walk, talk and do things so much more different today that back when I thought back then like most young folks like me that I had the world in the palm of my hand. I used many old co-workers names from my past to write about a few of the many things the old-school work place used to be like and thankfully today like myself it all has changed and I thank God that I had changed and survived and had learned so much back in those younger days out in the plant so long-ago.
