With the same page-turning suspense as The Girl on the Train and The Husband's Secret, New York Times bestselling author J.T. Ellison's No One Knows is a "riveting...skillfully plotted" (Publishers Weekly) thriller that questions if the narrator's husband really has returned from the dead--or if she's merely losing her mind. The day Aubrey Hamilton's husband is declared dead by the state of Tennessee should bring the closure she needs to move on with her life. But Aubrey doesn't want to move on; she wants Josh back. It's been five years since he disappeared, since their blissfully happy marriage--they were happy, weren't they?--screeched to a halt and Aubrey became the prime suspect in her husband's disappearance. Five years of emptiness, solitude, loneliness, questions. Why didn't Josh show up at his best friend's bachelor party? Was he murdered? Did he run away? And now, all this time later, who is the mysterious yet strangely familiar figure suddenly haunting Aubrey's new life? In No One Knows, New York Times bestselling author J.T. Ellison peels back the layers of a complex woman hiding dark secrets beneath her unassuming exterior. This masterful thriller is perfect for fans of Gillian Flynn, Liane Moriarty, and Paula Hawkins.
No One Knows. Spoiler alert. Throughout the story, the main character does not know what happened to her husband after she/they got to the Opryland hotel. 5 years later she still struggles with his death/disappearance. She’s clueless as to what happened to him. Then we read a chapter near the end of the book that she was in on his disappearance from the start. And the story ends with her being with his brother. I loved Tear Me Apart. Couldn’t put it down. No One Knows was not as captivating and the ending is awful. The ending doesn’t stay true to the main character. I suppose Ellison is revealing an unreliable character. I just feel cheated. J t Ellison, please explain. Thanks!
