Their challenges lurked in the unknown territories that awaited them. The brief encounters they made with other survivors in the After world, were usually the first and last. Would they ever see the Texas folks again? There would certainly be other meetings in their wanderings, such as Emily, a young woman all alone and fighting to stay alive. In this America that was far from restored, the good, the evil and everything in between existed. Jeff was determined to keep his son safe and convinced that to stay on the move was the right choice.
