I picked this book up at midnight and didn't stop reading until I was done. As the CEO of a major training company, I read a lot of books to give me insight on how to add value to my clients. This book is well written, draws you in like a novel or a movie, takes you on a rollercoaster ride and in the end leaves you feeling wonderful about yourself and appreciating your blessings. It certainly takes away all excuses and gives you hope that anything is possible if you believe in yourself, your family, your friends, your community but most importantly if you believe in GOD.
The Previous Review
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 21 years ago
The previous review from "Savanah Writes "Jennifer" appears to be written, not by someone who has read the book, but rather by someone who has a grudge against the author. If you take the time to read the book, you will see the grief that the author suffered from her in-laws... especially from their support of her husband's girl-friends (even taking the girl friend to meet with Victor in prison). Undoubtedly one of them is the author of this "so-called" review. I hope this will only encourage more people to read "No More Than I Can Bear" as it is truly a God honoring and honest work.
A Story Of Courage And Faith

I was so blessed by the Author's honesty and transparency in sharing her story. Natalie takes the reader on a tremendous journey of her life as she unfolds her story of betrayal, pain and heartache. The seemingly insurmountable trials and tests that she has faced have obviously been the catalyst for God's hand of protection, providence and healing in her life. She is such a courageous and beautiful woman and her story will inspire and encourage you in your faith and walk with God. This book was an incredible blessing to me!!

This is a must read for anyone who has ever suffered through hardships as a spouse, a parent or a patient. Natalie offers a truely inspirational, from the heart, look into her life and the trials she and her family have endured. She reminds us how to "let Go and let God" have true control over our lives and our loved ones. Natalie's positive outlook on her life serves as a gentle reminder of how to live everyday to its fullest and how to learn to trust that God will never give his children "no more than they can bear".
