An essay on surviving the unknown

This extremely well written book is the story of a husband and wife cruising the world in their 50 foot sailboot. The story within the story, however, is the power of being able to meet adversity with equanimity, overcoming obstacles without giving in to them, and not letting fear of the unknown keep us from our dreams. I have no interest in sailing , but found this an engrossing read and a powerful story of relationships, kindness, and courage.
