No Love - No Way Out

All through the years there was no comfort, no sympathy, no love and most of all no way out. In the fifties and forever before, there was no acceptable reason for an abortion even when a major health problem should have preempted such a decision. Also, there was no anticipatory pill or a pill to end your pregnancy. You could cry rape, but no one really cared. And there was no law that made it a crime if a father did not pay child support. After my third baby that was 3 1/2 weeks premature, the doctor made the decision to tie my tubes. In other words, he saved my life. I can't imagine him going to jail for doing something like this. This story, No Love - No Way Out, is an autobiography but only about my first marriage. Chuck full of trauma and about a loveless marriage that had no hope, somehow it lasted 24 years, but this was so l could raise my three sons. Of course, a new life is precious. Without a doubt God has a plan for each of us.
When the Supreme Court passed Roe vs Wade it gave much hope for women's rights unlike it was for me. I'll never forget when it was recently reversed. My heart sank. I knew without a doubt where this would take us all. I think my story will give you another dimension as to where all of this is going. If it happens that they take away our reproductive rights, we are headed back to when women could not vote or even have any representation in our government.
