Leadership you can apply

I read No Feet In Concrete six months ago and I have found that the leadership principles articulated in the book work when applied. I also enjoyed the book because it was an interesting and engaing read that kept my interest and made me want to keep reading - even after a long day of managing employees! After reading the book and applying the principles of entrepreneurial leadership, I realized that I often was trying to fit certain people into roles they were not suited, including myself. What I needed to do was set the vision and the expectation, not manage the person or the task. There is a real sense of freedom and energy you get when you realize this. When I focused on the leadership essentials mentioned in the book, I found I was much more productive and happy in general. In the end, the principles I applied forced me to be truly honest with myself and to focus like a laserbeam on the bigger vision that I wanted to achieve. This book is a great read for individuals who are serious about personal and corporate growth. Go for it - read it today.
