First the authors name is L.E.Cook. The book was meant to walk people through the steps necessary to successfully Identify,Analyze,Develop solutions, Implement, and Evaluate their solutions. This book was meant to be used by all level of the workforce,and has been used as a tool to teach student the thinking style necessary to work through issues.Although written in the early 90's the process has not changed. If you look at what is being actively pitched in industry today,i.e.6 sigma, etc. You will find all of these lessons in the content of this book.The only thing missing is the managemnt discipline required to make it work.Lorne E.
