Inspire your Teen to "Walk the Walk"

Can you imagine giving a teen a devotional book, praying she'll finish it within the year, and then having her devour it that very night? "No Compromise" by Jim Burns is such a book. The author has chosen 30 stories of real people who have to make a choice to live their faith in hard circumstances. Each story is then tied to a passage from the bible, and application questions are provided. The stories are so well written, so hard to put down, so inspiring...our 14-year old daughter just read it cover to cover (until 1:00 AM) and then went back through during the next few weeks to study the bible passages and applications. ...

Great for young teens!

My 14 year old daughter devoured this devotional book. We ordered one for every 8th grader in her youth group as a graduation gift. Devotions are just the right length and written at an appropriate developmental level for early teens.

Great devotional for teens (an others)

I am really pleased with this book. I was looking for a great devotional, for guys or girls, that was not corny, and this was it. Each devotion is short, with a great story, scripture and questions. The going deeper questions are great for journaling. I started it with one of my Young Life high school girls and she and I love it. Then some of the other kids looked at it and they asked me to get them one. So now I am ordering more.
