No Body, No Crime: The Slow Kill

By Gregg Voss

In the quiet farmlands of Harmony Ridge, Ohio, David and Sarah Ellis have built a life of faith, family, and generosity. As devoted pastors and stewards of their inherited land, they open their home to a young drifter named Ethan, adopting him as their own and partnering with him to revive a crumbling store into a thriving community hub. But what begins as an act of Christian kindness slowly unravels into a web of betrayal, financial manipulation, and hidden agendas.

Years later, when a charismatic pastor named Caleb Harlan courts their church for a merger, promising growth and renewal, the Ellises face a second assault on their legacy. Wrapped in prayers and kingdom language, Caleb's vision hides a calculated takeover, exploiting their trust and twisting Scripture to silence dissent-especially Sarah's role as a female preacher.

"No Body, No Crime: The Slow Kill" is a gripping Christian suspense novel exploring the dark side of unchecked generosity. Drawing from real patterns of spiritual abuse, family exploitation, and church politics, author Greg Voss weaves a tale of discernment, boundaries, and hard-won redemption. As the Ellises confront the "slow kill"-manipulation that arrives with tears and leaves with everything-they must decide how far grace extends when predators wear the mask of family and faith.

Perfect for fans of faith-based thrillers like those by Terri Blackstock or Dee Henderson, this story reminds us that true stewardship demands wisdom, not blind trust. Book One in a series-because some battles for truth are just beginning.
