I remember Woodstock

Enjoyed the book thoroughly. Raw, to the point, with very funny off the wall descriptions of people I have seen over the years. Waiting for the next book from you Steve.

A great find!

I bought this book on a whim and what a great find that was! It is a real fun read and it brought back tons of fantastic memories of my own concert going experiences. Weinberger definitely has a lot of experience and affection for the subject matter and has a great sense of humor. My family kept knocking on the bathroom door each time wondering what was so funny in there! Good conversation starter stuff with friends too.

Hilarious -- and spot-on

The book is hilarious. Weinberger gives us a social commentary on the archetypes we see at nearly every show. From The Unauthorized T-Shirt Guy (my friend purchased a shirt from this guy in the parking lot of the Hollywood Bowl after a Willie Nelson concert after paying double for the real thing inside) to the Other Lead Singer (the often DRUNK Other Lead Singer), I laugh every time I open it. When I know that guests are coming over, I leave it on the coffee table and, like clockwork, someone picks it up and begins laughing as they read, especially when they come across the 'Magic Moments.' It's a great conversation starter and a walk down concert memory lane. It's actually helped me become less annoyed at these people when I'm at concerts; instead of shooting menacing glances their way, I try to see the humor in the whole experience while enjoying the music.

Great coffee table conversation starter

I've never seen a book on the music and concert scene like this. If you like to go to concerts and share your experiences with others, you will be able to relate to the hip and honest perspectives in this book. Lots of stuff you might never have thought of talking about, too. A sure conversation starter at parties and a cool way to spice up the coffee table reading.

Don't miss this book!!!

The only complaint I have is that it wasn't long enough!! It was over before I knew it. Great insight into the concert world. I found myself laughing repeatedly. I could not put it down!! This is a must read, especially if you are big on going to concerts, you will recognize every character!!
