Let the battles begin! Way of the Warrior takes readers into the fray with history's most valiant and infamous soldiers for a close look at warriors through the ages.
It's a nice book for younger readers. It tries to cover the history but I think that the author could have spent a little more time on research like that which was done on Ninpo: Wisdom for Life.
Finnaly a NonFiction Ninja book for 4-8yr olds!

Good, historically accurate information about Ninjas. There are few books on this subject for 4-8 yr olds that will retain their interest. The book is less than 50 pages and goes along well with Ninja fiction (Like Night of the Ninjas by Mary Pope Osborne).
Extending the Nija Lore

I bought this book for my grandson's sixth birthday. This lovely book is a step-up from "Night of the Ninjas" a Stepping Stone book. My grandson is taking beginning martial arts and is fasinated with the art/s of the Ninja. I bought this book along with the Stepping Stone book so that he could 'read the Night of the Ninjas' on his own, learning the art, and have this book read TO him as an enhancement of the truth about Nijas and the true spirituality that the lifestyle holds. Of the two books I bought him, this book: Ninjas: Masters of Stealth and Secrecy is his favorite. He was taken with the extended information and appreciated the depth of the subject in this 'older child's' version.
