I savored every page of this fast-moving thriller about a serial killer whose identity keeps you guessing until the very end. There is fascinating detail about forensics and police methodology. The highly skilled author opens the door into the lives of the victims and to the impact of death on the survivors. The author's exploration of the sexuality of the victims and would-be victims provides an unusual counterpart to the twisted sex/power needs that consume the killer.

The Old is Shocking

When I picked up Night Waking, I expected being disapointed because it was kind of old. But to the contrary I was impressed. It was riveting, shoking, and had me wondering the whole time, who could the killer be? If you want to be at the edge of your seat, dying for more, I recommend reading this book. A quick hint: don't think the obivious.
