I loved the designs and creativity.

I am surprised that some people were critical of this book's designs. Firtly, I think you can get a real sense of the direction of this book from its cover. Secondly, Nicky Epstein does not offer your usual run-of-the-mill traditional scarf patterns, but as is Nicky's norm, showcases creations that forces a person who has advanced beyond the scarf state to revisit the concept of creating unique scarves. Yes, Nicky's designs include many felted projects, which was an area I had never considered until purchasing Nicky's previous books on that topic. So far I've made 3 scarves from this books, each more lovelier than the first. I would say to someone who wants more standard scarf patterns that offer simply accessories rather than standouts, consider "Vogue Knitting On-The-Go" or the like.

great knitting book!

I don't see how anyone can give this book less than 5 stars. It is great. I just got it and I can't stop thumbing thru. I allready have some great new ideas because of it. So fun! Especially the scarf on the front. The patterns are not all advanced and are really nice. They would make such beautiful gifts. I can't wait to knit one of the fantastic fashionable ideas. Thanks for something different and full of updated styles Nicky! I have seen some similar styles in Macy's and Nordstrom for sale at a high price. It's a nice change from the same old boring scarves.
