Learn to Read with Dora and Friends!Children can build their reading skills and a Nick Jr. library with this boxed set of six Ready-to-Read stories. And better yet, they can bring these books with... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This set includes the following 6 Ready-to-Read books: Dora Level 1 - Dora's Picnic, Follow those Feet Blue's Clues Level 1 - My Dress-Up Party, My Visit with Periwinkle Oswald Pre-Level 1 - Ah-Choo!, Hooray for Fall! Packaged together in a cute cardboard case that we threw out right away, these 6 books are exactly the same as the single readers you'd buy for about $4 a piece, except that their bindings are stapled rather than glued. That makes them even better, in my opinion, because that glue seems to fail much too often. These books are the perfect length for a 2 or 3 year-old listener who can't still for longer books, and great readers for preschoolers through 1st graders. A real deal!

My four year old is trying to learn to read. These books with familiar characters and word icons help him read on his own. He wants to read all the time now. I like the convenience of several books in one package.
Okay for beginning readers who are Nick Jr fans

These books contain simple words and sentences for the beginning reader. Nothing special, unless you have a Nick Jr. fan. There are 2 Dora books, 2 Blue's Clues, and 2 Oswald books. They are called pre-level 1 books, as opposed to the level 1 books which have rebus pictures and more of a storyline.
Great for beginning readers

My four-year-old daughter loves rebus stories. This little pack, contained in an easy-to-carry suitcase, is just right for her. These books have gone with us everywhere. If your child loves Dora and is just starting to read, these are a nice addition to your home library. We read them almost every day and I've found she is starting to be able to recognize some words in addition to the rebus pictures.

This is a great set for kids who love Dora, Blue and Oswald. My son loves all three and these books are good for those just learning to read. They are simple and have repeating phrases to help kids learn to read sight words.
