Arrested, persecuted, tortured and imprisoned, Nicholas would face many trials and suffering as his friends would be killed and his first wife crucified. Through all of these challenges, Nicholas kept his faith and continued to carry a message that love, compassion and generosity are the pillars of all life in the universe.
