Nicholas II: A Storm is Coming

"The Name of the Game" was a local club on the north side of town known for having eyes and ears on the streets. It's the main watering hole for some of the biggest, boldest pimps, hustlers, and notorious drug dealers and O.G.'s in Oaktown. The Game was the place to be if you wanted to be a player. Tyrone pulled into the parking lot, found a spot, and cut the engine. He knew that if anything was happening in the world of pimps, street dealers, hustlers, and players; somehow it made its way to the Game. He walked in and took a seat at the bar. The bartender, an old street hustler walked up, placed a napkin on the bar top. "Well, what's happening O.G.? Haven't seen you in a while, how's it hanging?" said Jerry, reaching over the bar and slapping Tyrone's hand."It's hanging my man, I 'm on my job, I just stopped to see what the word was on the streets," said Tyrone, as he looked around the bar. "Man, I was thinking about Nick last night. I played golf with Nick Saturday morning, he was in a good mood, as his lady was coming home. Go's to show, you never know when the game is going to bite you", replied Jerry, as he poured Tyrone a glass of Johnny Walker Black label."Yeah, it's a cold world out here. One never knows when he is going to have to hold court or not", said Tyrone, while taking a sip of his drink."Well, what can I do for you? You know me and Nick go back... anything I can do just ask", said Jerry, with a bit of sorrow in his voice. "I'm looking for a dude name William Franklin, I need to talk to him", said Tyrone, with a little hint of anger in his voice."Don't know the dude, but I have heard, he hangs with a couple of wannabes named P-Slim and Dirty Mike. Those two are dirt and for my money they would snitch in a minute. They don't hang around here. I'm told they hang at a club in the city called the Red Door. I hope you get the sons of bitches that hit Nick", said Jerry, with an honest look of regret on his face.Tyrone sat there and talked to Jerry while he finished his drink and placed a twenty on the bar and left.
